Behavioral Services

In-Home Behavioral Consultation and Parent Training

Often paired with parent training, behavioral consultation services are designed to help parents improve their child’s ability to complete specific everyday routines or tasks. We work with parents to create an individualized plan of action to strategically and systematically teach children new behaviors to replace challenging behaviors.

Skills that could be addressed through behavioral consultation include:

  • Safety concerns

  • Meal-time challenges (including picky eaters)

  • Morning and bedtime routines

  • Cleaning up toys

  • Obsessive, perseverative, or rigid behaviors

  • Difficulty with changes in routine

  • Transitioning throughout the day

  • Potty training

  • Seemingly random tantrums or "melt-downs"

  • Not listening to instructions
