Screening

Screenings are a quick way to survey all aspects of speech & language and compare these results to developmental norms. We use screening results to determine if there is a need for a more comprehensive evaluation. Areas of screenings include: articulation, expressive & receptive language, fluency, and voice. 

Evaluations

Evaluations are conducted as a means to determine if intervention is needed, and if so, in what areas. To complete an evaluation, we utilize standardized assessments, professional observations, and parent interviews.  We will summarize areas of strength and weakness and provide  you with   recommendations  based on the results. 

Individualized Therapy

Effective and efficient communication is essential for your child to build relationships and better interact with their community. At SLBS, we believe children deserve individualized intervention to address their specific needs. We understand all children learn differently; We prioritize teaching in whatever way works best for each child! 

Parent Training

At SLBS, we believe you are your child's most important teacher! We can provide you with individualized recommendations based on your child’s goals.  We want to empower you to utilize everyday experiences as an opportunity to help your child learn and grow.

SLBS offers speech and language services for children ages 0-18 with a variety of deficits. We specialize in intensive early intervention for children who are late talkers, non-talkers, or talkers who are difficult to understand.
